I went and rented my tuxedo today for the Gala for Life, and I’m really excited about it! It’s been a long time since you and I have gone to a formal event together. I know you’ll look beautiful, and I hope I can do you justice too. I ordered some new bullet cufflinks and shirt studs. Hopefully they wont be too controversial, but that’s how I protect my life and the lives of our family, so I figure it’s pretty apt!

I’m typing this as I sit in the orthodontist waiting room, something that I couldn’t possibly be less excited about. But I know it’s important so I’m doing it anyway.
