Judah and I went to Allsopp Park for a nature walk after I picked him up from school. It was so much fun! We found acorns and seed pods and lots of cool rocks (obviously). Of course we had to bring a toy truck along, because he’s him. I love doing outdoorsy things like that with him, so I’m really glad that we decided to move to Little Rock. I want Judah to be an outside kid as much as possible, and this is a great place for that kind of life. I can’t wait for you to go on a nature walk with us!

One of the things from my men’s group tonight that really hit home was that God isn’t just my Father, he’s also my Father-in-law. I never thought about it like that before, but it’s absolutely true. I’m married to God’s daughter, and he expects and demands that I do everything in my power to protect her. Not just from earthly, physical threats, but from sin. I love you with all of my heart, and I will do my best to be the husband that God requires of me and that you deserve.
